Pro Members can now add their own personal recipes to Maison Foodie to share with the Maison Foodie community. The Maison Foodie Text/Character Recognition Tool can quickly scan and digitize images to extract the recipe content saving you time. Upload an image of a recipe or use your device’s camera to take a photo of the recipe. Maison Foodie Recipe Books are now available as a premium feature for Pro Members. Maison Foodie Recipe Books allow you to create your own Recipe Books to categorize, organize, and manage your Maison Foodie created recipes for easy access when you need them. All recipes that reside in your “My Recipe History” can be quickly and easily added to your Maison Foodie Recipe Books. Found a recipe that was created by a fellow foodie? January 16, 2026: NEW FEATURE ANNOUNCEMENT – RECIPE PHOTO/IMAGE UPLOAD.
Maison Foodie is pleased to announce the release of a new feature for recipes that registered foodies have created. All recipes created with Maison Foodie will have an AI-generated image automatically created based on the recipe ingredients. Don’t like the AI-generated image? Would you prefer to use your own photo/image? Now you can change the image/photo that is displayed with your recipe. To change the image/photo displayed with your recipe, navigate to “My Recipe History”. On the right side of the recipe, click on the “Replace Image” button. Select the image/photo that you would like to use and click “Open” (note that the file size of the image/photo is currently limited to 2 MB). Maison Foodie will automatically save your selected image/photo. Your choice to upload and use your own image/photo with your recipe(s) is subject to the Maison Foodie Terms of Service. Temperature Does Matter
The temperature setting of your refrigerator and freezer matters. As you know, refrigerators and freezers work all the time 24 hours a day 7 days a week. To ensure that your refrigerator and freezer are working as efficiently as possible, set your fridge inside cabinet temperature to be between 2°C and 3°C degrees (35°F and 38°F) and your freezer cabinet to be between -15°C to -18°C (5°F and 0°F). If set to these ideal temperature ranges, your food in the fridge will remain cold without overchilling and items in your freezer won’t experience freezer burn. Operating your fridge and freezer efficiently should prevent them from over-working and creating out-of-control electricity bills.
